Review of EssayMama.com – Is it a great writing service?
As an Art major, I’m a sucker for retro-style pin-up designs, so discovering “Essay Mama” being used as a marketing ploy was interesting, to be perfectly frank.
And I don’t know what compelled me to write this review. Probably my fascination with cautionary tales.
Historically, I took an intense dislike to writing essays and my assignment was exactly that, an essay on “Civic Responsibility.” So to save myself from a tedious chore and get a decent grade, I decided to go a different route. As a student, I learned to adapt, so I began my search to find a professional writing company. One that writes for and supports their customers.
Essaymama.com is a paid writing service. Once I got on the site, I was greeted with this titular “Essay Mama,” who according to the service “was there to help,” and noticed a couple of careless oversights, like misspelled words. Can’t really believe that an academic site with spelling mistakes can be legit. The sense of adventure still urged me to press on and learn more.
The top row included relevant details, such as prices, ordering page, “about us” page, and blog. You know, the usual for an online service.
There are three easy steps to perform when ordering papers:
1) Submit your requirements;
2) Complete your payment;
3) Get a unique essay.
That last part is exactly what I needed to buy.
No review is ever complete without the showcase of pricing policies.
As usual, prices depend on a variety of factors.
Quality tiers: Standard, Premium, and Platinum. But as a side note, prices didn’t differ that much for either of them.
The lowest price for a page is $19.99 with a 10-day deadline. Not exactly cheap, but affordable for these kinds of services nonetheless.
Special offers include a free outline, title page, bibliography, paper formatting and unlimited revisions.
Promo code – 20% off. Every first order is entitled to a pretty hefty discount, which is part of the reason I decided to with this service, my personal savings weren’t what they used to be. Also, wallet warriors will be pleased to learn that the more they order, the deeper their discount is going to be.
I was pinged three times by their customer support team just by being on site and reading about their service. Their eagerness was palpable.
Live support is cited to be reliable, and working on a 24/7 basis.
It seems being prompt is on their list of goals since deadlines go from 3 hours to 10 days. It’s a good idea to have some leeway when dealing with deadlines, so I set it a few days in advance of the actual deadline. Probably the best decisions I’ve made.
Result and Concluding Thoughts
Let me tell you about the most important thing of this review, the resulting paper.
I was able to turn it in at a relatively comfortable time frame since I had some time leftover from the deadline. But, as it turns out, the essay had a couple of glaring issues with its structure. Some paragraphs didn’t flow well, and some awkwardly worded phrases popped up here and there. However, issues discussed in it were of some merit. I assume I simply didn’t get a college level writer to work on my paper, but I distinctly remember leaving a note about it.
Anyway, my professor wasn’t entirely happy but still decided to let it slide.
Could have been better, could have been worse. Only have myself to blame.
Summing up we found a lot of controversial points, we can’t recommend EssayMama.com, so you can use other more safe writing service
